Transition To The Carnivore Diet

If you are coming from a Standard American Diet you will begin with a transition into Ketogenic diet.

We take your lab test results and supplement you with only the necessary deficiency nutrients you require ready to begin detoxing and diet change.

You will stay Ketogenic for 12 weeks then you will prepare for transition into Carnivore where you will make the bulk of your reversal and healing.

Purpose - Prep Phase and stabilization.

  • Week 8 - Prepare organ systems for change with HCL, Digestion aids, parasite cleanse protocols followed with Kidney Liver and gall bladder detox.

  • Weight starts here. 2=7 lbs per week for some.

  • You monitor carbohydrate totals at <14g daily.

  • Blood Sugar can lower as cravings stabilize, full removal of cravings occurs on Carnivore.

  • Immune responses lower as detox improves over all function.
    You will transition from signaling Insulin to Glucagon and you will operate in ketosis, usually takes 2-3 weeks.

  • Autoimmune flare lessen but will not go into remission fully for many until they go into Carnivore.

your systems and organs are ready to move directly onto the Carnivore Diet where you will make the bulk disease reversal, healing and recovery.

Introduction into why we choose carnivore as our basis to heal.

Beneath nature’s verdant splendor lies a silent, ceaseless war. Plants, far from being passive providers of nourishment, have evolved an arsenal of sophisticated chemical defenses over hundreds of millions of years—toxins, anti-nutrients, and irritants designed explicitly to deter, harm, or kill the creatures that would consume them. These compounds—lectins, oxalates, phytates, glucosinolates, solanine, salicylates, and countless others—are not mere accidents of metabolism; they are deliberate weapons in the evolutionary arms race between flora and fauna.

I wanted to share some of the ways working with you this second go round on the Align body balancing plan that made a big difference with my outcome and sustainability. Working with you was like night and day from my first experience. I kept thinking wow, they have really changed their protocol for the better. Only later did I learn it was you, your style, approach, knowledge, You that was the big difference.
From your first response to my situation I felt like I was heard, understood, relieved and you suggested two plans of action and time to set up a phone call. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful you were now working there. And this support continued throughout my diet phases, through maintenance, and you have continued to check in periodically to see how I am doing.
The first time I was transitioned to maintenance, I was given all the information about increasing calories, adding foods back in, and all in one meeting in a packet. And told my downfall would be sugar and chocolate so be careful and to call if I had any additional questions. Within several weeks my weight was fluctuating because I wasn’t phasing slow enough for me, no logging etc. I discovered part of why I wasn’t successful by the difference in how you handled the phase to maintenance. Completely different, and thank you 10,000 times plus. You know I wasn’t crazy about all the detailed logging on paper😊 but, I knew why you were asking me to do it, thank you!! And I am still using the logging app because I see how it helps me!! That is 5 months after I finished maintenance!

My time with Bex.

I began working with Bex in mid December 2023. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she was going to have a profound effect on my life and my viewpoints of 70 years.
I have struggled with my weight my entire life. Growing up, for any tragedy, trouble, sadness, etc. the response was have something to eat. I grew up believing that the solution for all of my problems was written on the back wall of the refrigerator, if I could only eat my way to it.
That’s exactly what I did. In December 2022, I injured my back and ended up literal prisoner in my own home because it was too painful for me to walk or stand much less go up and down steps or safely drive a car. At that point I was about 280 pounds. I ended up in the emergency room. A MRI some CT scan showed that I had severe arthritis and compression causing stenosis in my lower back. I was referred to a neurological and spinal specialist who wanted to do surgery to fuse my lower L4, L5, and down discs and open up the stenosis and herniated discs that was causing the pain. I really didn’t want to do that and was referred to pain management. I did the in-home physical therapy and got stronger, but it didn’t help the pain. I ended up having two epidurals and they got me a lot more comfortable but still a great deal of pain in my right leg. I had been losing weight mainly because walking was so painful and cooking was an impossibility. At this point I was down to about 260 pounds. Further explorations disclosed that I had severe osteoarthritis in my right hip to the point that my right leg was 5/8” shorter than my left leg. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who told me that my BMI was too high and that I needed to get it down to 40 BMI or less for the hip replacement surgery. I began working really hard at losing weight. Surviving primarily on protein bars and protein drinks. Walking and standing was still extremely painful. I managed to get my weight down to the 239 pounds necessary to qualify for the hip replacement surgery. That happened in July 2023.

Once again, I was doing in-home physical therapy to strengthen my hip and my physical therapist declared me a star patient. I faithfully did all of the exercises but was still experiencing lower back pain. I felt that losing weight was the solution and continued to drink the high protein, drinks, and small meals Here and there. It was not a healthy lifestyle, but I was losing weight which I thought was more critical.

12In mid December 2023 Bex came into my life and my world underwent a complete and total epiphany. Bex taught me about reading labels and being aware of what I was putting into my body. All of the protein drinks that my caregivers had recommended to me so strongly were full of carcinogens and other chemicals that were not good for me! Bex began teaching me about portion sizes and gradually it began to make sense to me. I was essentially doing a ketogenic type diet with several ounces of meat and green vegetables for at least two meals. I had instant success and began dropping weight, but I found that I really did not care for vegetables. I never did. On my own I made the decision to go completely carnivore. I discussed this decision with Bex and she was completely supportive. The results were shocking! A great deal of the arthritis pain that I had in my knees, ankles, neck, shoulders, and hands began to dissipate. I still was having pretty extreme lower back pain but everywhere else was really improving. My sleep began to improve.
I was no longer getting up multiple times during the night to urinate. I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep. I noticed that the quality of my skin hair and nails was also improving. Plus I was just so much happier. My mental attitude had changed. I felt more energetic and enthusiastic. I went back to my quilting, something that I had not touched in nearly a year. I was no longer taking afternoon naps and found, in general, the clarity of my thought process had improved dramatically, and that my overall outlook on life had also undergone a complete reversal. About the time I reached 195 pounds I realized that the high blood pressure medication I had been taking for years was making me lightheaded and dizzy. My blood pressure was dangerously low. I had a conversation with my cardiologist and quit my high blood pressure medication completely. At the same time, I made the decision to come off of the anticoagulant that I had also been taking for years since I had had my heart ablation nearly 6 years ago.
I cannot state strongly enough how much of a benefit Bex has been in my life. I praise God for her. My only regret is that I’m now 70 and I’m just learning all these things. I am healthier, happier, and feel better than I have felt in memory. I attribute all of this to the lifestyle changes I have made in what I put into my body under the expert guidance from Bex.
